The frame and stand still have that nice almost 'piano black' shine and have only had regular cleaning to keep them that way even the LG logo is still sharp and clear and doesn't show signs of wearing off. I have had my W2361 well over a year now and use it every day and so far I have nothing negitive to report with performance or quality. The colors are intense and true and I have no problem watching with every light on and every window in my room open.
It provides inputs for VGA, DVI-D and HDMI cables which is great and the touch on-off bar along the bottom adds a nice high tech appeal for me. Too say the least I am most happy I did! I decided on the W2361V-PF mainly for size and the HD 1080p support because I also use my monitor to watch NetFlix and Hulu. LG monitors had excelent ratings from other consumers so never having any experience with any LG product I took a chance. After that, if the issue persists, you can try to download the 3rd party program, Powerstrip, to force to change the screen resolution. Follow the instruction to install the driver, and test. Check the box before “Run this program as an Administrator” below. Under the Compatibility tab, please check the " Run this program in compatibility mode for" and choose " Windows Vista". Since this is a Vista driver, I can't guarantee if it works for you, but we can try the following steps to install the driver. Please download it via the following download link, If the solutions above does not work, you can try to download the driver for Nvidia 8800GT to check the issue. However, if Windows 7 driver has not been released, please try downloading the correct type of Windows Vista Monitor driver (You need to download analog type since your monitor is connected to the system in VGA mode). Please note: You may need to register the monitor in order to download the relevant drivers.
